New transformative technologies have raised the bar on what customers expect, putting pressure on companies to deliver more personalized product options faster and more conveniently than ever. While Industry 4.0 is similar in many ways to the first three industrial revolutions, it is a convergence in technologies more than anything else, that drives much of the business value.
There are a whole host of dazzling new technologies which offer powerful new ways of making and distributing and managing products and services. But this wealth of technology is also a trap for the unwary.
