The final TT of the series at Lowes on 10-04-2006 went well. I set a new PR 21:35, just 5 secs off the goal I set last year for this season. Conditions were good, but not perfect, there was a slight headwind on the front straight. A lot of people were quite a bit slower than normal so I was happy to set a new PR in those conditions.
I finished 1st in my category which was a nice surprise. I placed 17th in the overall which is the first top 20 finish a long time, maybe first this year. John Patterson won the overall with a great ride. I had finished and watched him flying on his last couple of laps (photo to follow).
